The alliance is created by Mikael Syväjärvi. He decided to leave university life after 26 years when experiencing that tens of millions of Swedish tax-payers money was misused, young international visiting PhD student and postdoc careers damaged, etc. No explanation. No transparency. The lid is on by the research host and funding agency.

Recently it was apparent that Swedish research organizations have experienced various severe working environmental problems. Those are not problems with individual researchers. It is management and Swedish research system inadequacy.

Much of the CO2 reduction and societal benefits in 2050 will come from thing in R&D today. The climate urgency is critical. Research damaged today will of not be realized. Technologies which would save peoples lifes by reducing or even preventing climate disasters will never see the day.

Implementing key enabling technologies takes tens of years. That requires collaboration. Over many years. Ethics and trust are key parameters to continue collaboration.

Being passive is to accept.

How can we look our children and grandchildren in their eyes if we do not make our best effort for this planet?

Their future?

We can not do much about the system. But we can do something with our own situation. Collaboration in ethical ways and support each other.
